Interview with Michael Cole, spokesman for the Al Fayed brothers, following a press conference chaired by Lonrho chairman, Edward du Cann, about the Monopolies and Mergers Commission’s report on the controversial takeover of the House of Fraser stores group by the Egyptian Al Fayed brothers. The report remains unpublished amid speculation that Trade and Industry Secretary, Lord Young might soon resign. Lonrho is stepping up its campaign to force publication. Interviewer not heard (poss.
