Northern Ireland Secretary, Sir Patrick Mayhew says the Government has not sold out, and defends the proposals. Labour’s Northern Ireland spokesman Kevin McNamara defends the declaration, and Seamus Mallon of the SDLP believes the peace accord is something to build on. Peter Russell reports.
