Description

Falkland Islands government representative in London, Sukey Cameron on the agreement on oil exploration in the Falkland Islands which has been brokered by UK Foreign Secretary Malcolm Rifkind and Argentine President Carlos Menem. She welcomes the agreement which should make the islands more financially secure and not affect the position on sovereignty. She says the Argentine government is exploiting the agreement as a public relations exercise. Part of a discussion chaired by Petroc Trelawny.
