Description

Iraqi forces have pulled back from the frontier with Saudi Arabia. An unidentified male Iraqi official, speaking to an unidentified male American reporter, claims that Kuwait, as it was formerly known, no longer exists. The same reporter is unable to confirm or deny the death of an American national who allegedly died whilst being held hostage by Iraqi troops. Includes audio of a crowd (apparently employed to follow foreign news correspondents) chanting, Down with the USA! Peter Allen-Frost reports.
