Description

Paola Tich(?) reports on the ten year anniversary of the women’s peace camp at Greenham Common against US nuclear missiles on the air base. Thalia Campbell remembers her times on site, visiting it today; Commons speech by Michael Heseltine, the then Defence Secretary, announcing the arrival of the missiles in 1983; vox pop with protesters over the years; interview with irate local MP Michael McNair-Wilson. The camp remains today despite the last missiles leaving last March.
