- Description
- Report on the payment plans of the Child Support Agency. Labour MP, Frank Field says any unfairness must be eradicated if the system is to work, as some parents are paying whilst some are being missed. Conservative, David Shaw claims fathers feel victimised by the CSA, as Graham Clay, a father, committed suicide after his payments were trebled. Barry Clay, the dead man’s brother, claims the CSA caused his suicide. Kate Lister on the other hand says she has become better off, whilst Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn claims the increases are going to the Treasury and not to the children. Social Security Minister, Alastair Bird discusses the new changes. Paul Rowley reports.
