Description

The Church of England has named the new Bishop of London. He is Richard Chartres, who is currently the Bishop of Stepney. His appointment is not without controversy; the new Bishop is something of a traditionalist and openly opposed to the ordination of women priests and to allowing homosexual people into the ministry. Religious affairs correspondent Lawrence Spicer speaks to the new bishop.
