- Paul Woodley reports from New York on racial tension between Black and Jewish groups in the Crown Heights area in Brooklyn, with dozens of arrests and injuries as police and civilians came under attack from angry youths. Buildings and people were pelted with stones and bottles, police were fired on and had petrol bombs hurled at their ranks. Includes interview with Phil Caruso, NYPD; New York Mayor David Dinkins; New Jersey Congressman, Robert Torricelli; Dennis de Leon, New York human rights commissioner. Also includes recording of the meeting of opposition factions.
