Description

Interview with an unidentified male speaker from the EEC on the sinking of the oil tanker, Eleni V. The tanker collided with a French ship in heavy fog, spilling five thousand tonnes of oil. He says that organisations including the United Nations and the EEC are addressing the problem. The speaker also claims that workers are getting better at cleaning up oil spills.
