Description

Interview with the director of the Office of Passenger Rail Franchising, Roger Salmon, about the conditions under which eight British rail lines will be privatised. The lines are the Gatwick Express, Great Western, Intercity East Coast, London Tilbury and Southend, ScotRail, Southwest Trains, Midland Mainline and Network South Central, serving Sussex and Surrey. Salmon says the lines will all be subject to very strict conditions. Interviewer (poss. Paul Maurice) not heard.
