Greenpeace’s Nuclear Spokesman, Jack Cade on the Greenpeace report commissioned from an independent consultant on the carrying of spent nuclear fuel in flasks on channel ferries from Dover. That in the event of a fire in a confined space the flasks might be expected to fail and release their radioactive contents into the environment, causing a major nuclear accident.
