Description

Report on the ceremony unveiling a memorial today to 3 police officers killed in Shepherds Bush in 1966. Detective Sergeant Christopher Head, Detective Constable David Wombwell and PC Geoffrey Fox stopped a car whose occupants John Witney, John Duddy and Harry Roberts shot at them. Witney has just been released on parole. Includes interviews with Inspector Mike Hallows and fellow police officer Alan Fry; Michael Winner from the Police Memorial Trust; Dave Wombwell, son of David on his youth without a father, and the effect the murder had on his family.
