Report from the memorial service for PC Patrick Dunne, a police officer shot dead in Clapham by three suspected drugs dealers. Includes a vox pop with members of the local public, who express their shock; excerpt of the address by The Reverend John Hackett, and reading by Constable Barry Critchley; singing of the church congregation; tribute by Dunne’s former colleague, Fred Tilsley. Dunne’s brother Steven calls for the Police to do everything in their power to protect officers. Detective Superintendent John Jones hopes that someone watching the service will come forward with information about the killers. Prime Minister John Major pays tribute to the fallen officer.
