- Description
- Report on the Daily Mirror’s publication of photographs taken of Princess Diana working out at a gym, which has caused uproar in the industry and amongst the general public. Daily Mirror editor David Banks has said that he will not use the photos again, and the Princess’s solicitor, Anthony Julius, says the injunction taken out against the Mirror prevents the newspaper from printing them again, anyway. The RAC had advertised next to the photos; spokesman David Worskett explains the company’s decision to remove its advertisement. Director-General of the Advertising Association, Andrew Brown says the photos should not be used to interfere with editorial control. WH Smith Director of Corporate Affairs, Kevin Hawkins explains the decision not to remove his company’s advertising. Kevin Murphy reports.
