Description

Report on the British Medical Association (BMA) conference at which the General Medical Council decided that doctors should notify the parents in any case where an under-age girl requires birth control. Dr Robin Steele supports this in principle, but emphasises that doctors must exercise judgement. Dr Stuart Horner says doctors should not tell the parents, on grounds of patient confidentiality.
