- 23 year-old Sharon Riley from Lancashire and her sister are set to sue West Yorkshire Police. She claims she was badly beaten by riot police when they raided an acid party eleven days previously. The party, held at a warehouse in Leeds, was attended by thousands and resulted in 500 arrests. Riley has officially complained to Fleetwood Police and is set to visit her MP to get these parties recognised and stop them being forced underground. Female reporter not identified.
