Description
Simon Bowden interviews Frank Crichlow, Notting Hill cafe owner, following his acquittal in a case where more than sixty policemen testified that heroin and cannabis had been found in his possession. Frank Crichlow, who runs the Mangrove Club, claims he was the victim of a police conspiracy. His supporters are calling for the senior policeman in charge of the investigation, Chief Superintendent Clive Pearman, to be sacked and all the other officers to be suspended. Frank Crichlow was one of the organisers of the Notting Hill Carnival.
