- Chief correspondent Paul Maurice reports on Defence Secretary Malcolm Rifkind touring Bosnia and talking to UN commander General Sir Michael Rose and Prime Minister John Major and Foreign Secretary Douglas Hurd attending the conference on security and cooperation in Europe being held in Budapest. British peacekeeping troops may be pulled out for their own safety unless Bosnian Serbs comply with conditions for the peace plan. At the conference NATO and Russia also disagreed over NATO expansion into former Soviet states. Includes speeches by John Major and Douglas Hurd.
