Description
Commander George Churchill-Coleman, head of Scotland Yard’s anti - terrorist squad, on the bomb that killed Conservative MP Ian Gow outside his home in Hankham, Eastbourne this morning. Thought to have been placed under Gow’s car, the bomb was typical of those used by the IRA. Churchill-Coleman revealed at a later date that Gow’s name had been on a hit list found in an east London flat used by the IRA.
