Description

Willy Claes, NATO Secretary General, statement to journalists at NATO headquarters, Brussels on the Bosnian conflict. He says military action is not the way to end the conflict and NATO will only act with the UN. NATO Contact Group is working on a diplomatic means to end the conflict. Follows UN officials in Sarajevo saying they had received requests to end air patrols and Claes saying he had not received such a request.
