Unofficial strikes have paralysed ports around the country, as dockers walk out in protest after employers won an injuction yesterday to stop an official all-out strike. National officials of the Transport and General Workers Union have urged restraint from their members as the union intends to appeal to the House of Lords. Tilbury shop steward George Lake says that while his members have no national agreement, they will continue the strike action. Male reporter not identified.
