The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is meeting at Lords today to raise a vote of no confidence in the selectors following David Gower’s omission from the England touring party to India. The meeting is the result of a campaign by the Observer and its editor Donald Trelford speaks to Angela Rippon on her Drivetime show about why he believes the Test and County Cricket Board (TCCB) should reinstate Gower.
