Description

Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher addresses an international conference in London, calling on the rest of the world to act in the fight to save the ozone layer and announcing Britain will contribute 9 million dollars to an action programme. She says some progress has been made but we must press on, specifically to find alternatives to CFCs and help developing countries avoid environmentally damaging practices.
