The long-running inquiry into the homes-for-votes scandal in Westminster is set to move into its final stage. The full inquiry is due to start later this month, but tomorrow Dame Shirley Porter will make a final attempt to remove the auditor in charge of the investigation, John Magill. One of the legal representatives of the Westminster Objectors’ Group, Neil Coleman, says they will seek increased surcharges should the charges of wilful misconduct be proven.
