Margaret Thatcher is a hypocrite, whose snide comments about the Common Market have misled the British people. That is the opinion of her fellow Conservative, and former prime minster, Edward Heath. In a speech in Brussels, he outlined the alternative Conservative philosophy on Europe in a clear bid to reassure Britain’s Common Market partners that someone over here loves them after all.
