Report on an agreement by steel workers at Llanwern, Ravenscraig and Scunthorpe not to strike in support of the miners. Fourteen unions, including the TGWU, AUEW, the General and Municipal Workers Union and the Boilermakers Union, met at BSC headquarters and agreed that any strike would be damaging to the industry. Includes interivew with Bill Sirs, General Secretary of the Iron and Steel Trades Confederation. Male reporter not identified (poss. Mark Mardell).
