- Description
- Colonel Gaddafi has expressed public grief after WPC Yvonne Fletcher was shot dead in London by a Libyan seven years ago. Conservative MP Teddy Taylor has returned from a trip to Libya with a large sum of money for the police force, a peace offering from the country, and describes the changes in Libya. Queenie Fletcher, mother of the dead police officer, claims Gaddafi’s apology has ulterior political motives behind it, whilst founder of the Police Memorial Trust, Michael Winner, says Gaddafi should offer up the criminal for trial.
