Description

Bill Chislett reports on the eve of polling day in Spain, the first elections since the Civil War in 1936-1939. King Juan Carlos is skilfully overseeing the transition of the country to a less authoritarian regime. La Passionara - Dolores Ibarrur - will not be voting as she has only recently returned to the country from exile and is not on the electoral register. Ordinary Spaniards have had to be educated in how to place a vote.
