Max Cotton reports on a police hunt in Warwickshire for a gang of armed robbers after the murder of a Woolwich building society manageress in a £15,000 raid. 38-year-old Carol Wardell was abducted from her home in Meriden, her husband Gordon Wardell was left bound and gagged. Includes interview with Detective Superintendent Tony Bayliss; vox pop with neighbours. (Gordon Wardell was later arrested and jailed for life for the murder and the robbery exposed as an elaborate cover-up).
