Clayre Gribben reports on issues arising from the Romanian revolution or uprising in December, and interviews persecuted Romanian bishop, Lazlo Tokes (of the Reformed Church in Romania) about his views of Romania’s recent political past and his hopes and fears for the future. Tokes says he hopes Romania will not become the China of Europe, the miners’ action being reminiscent of Tiananmen Square.
