Interview with Liz Sayce, Policy Director of MIND, calling for greater spending on psychiatric patients rather than compulsory medication and enforced hospitalisation following the publication of a Government inquiry report showing psychiatric patients had committed 34 murders in eighteen months. The figures sparked a wave of complaints from the Labour Party and various charities, saying too often patients were left to rely on drug treatment alone and underfunding would result in more tragedies.
