Description

Report on the attempted murder of a taxi driver in his own flat. The victim, Harry Cole, was tortured and hung from the ceiling before being shot with a shotgun. Detective Superintendent John Bassett describes the crime, and the lucky circumstances which helped the victim survive. Descriptions of the attackers are given and the public asked for information.
