Paul Rowley reports on an address by outgoing US President Ronald Reagan at the end of a visit to Britain at the Guildhall in London, on the future of international relations following UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s summit in Moscow with Mikhail Gorbachev. He states there will be a lasting change in Soviet politics, and condemns the unilateralists after they proclaimed arms reduction could not happen.
