- Report on a Gulf War memorial service in Scotland, attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prime Minister John Major and the families of soldiers who died fighting in the Gulf. The fallen troops are remembered in readings by Flight Lieutenant John Peters, who was captured and paraded on Iraqi television during the war, and Archbishop of York, John Habgood.
