- Description
- Thousands of mourners in New York have been paying their respects to Jim Henson, the man who created the Muppets and Sesame Street. They flocked to a New York cathedral to remember and pay tribute to Henson, who died last Wednesday of bacterial pneumonia. He was 53. But as Nick Peters reports, he left instructions that he was to be given a highly unusual send-off. Harry Belafonte pays tribute; vox pop with child mourner; Big Bird (possibly performed by Caroll Spinney) sings.
