Labour finally looks set to dump its non-nuclear defence policy. The party’s long-awaited policy review, out tomorrow, is expected to call for Britain’s nuclear weapons to be negotiated away, rather than scrapped unilaterally. But MP Joan Ruddock , former chair of CND and now one of Labour’s transport spokespersons, tells Peter Spencer that the unilateralists will not give up easily.
