- Description
- In 2 parts. Scottish police have detained Peter Hall, moments after he and his wife Monica, arrived at Heathrow from Saudi Arabia, where they had escaped a death sentence for murder. The couple faced beheading for the 1987 murder of a British nurse, Helen Feeney. But they were granted clemency by King Fahd, on the grounds they offered Feeney’s family blood money. But when they arrived at Heathrow, Peter Hall was detained, as their lawyer, Paul Malone, explains. Helen Feeney’s sister, Theresa Tonry(?), claims that the family have forgiven the murderer, whoever s/he may be, because of their Christian beliefs. Interviewer(s) poss. George Matheson.
