- Malcolm Brown reports on the announcement St Bartholomew’s Hospital (Bart’s) in the City of London is to shut within 6 years following failure to block the closure of the Accident and Emergency Department at the Court of Appeal. All services will be transferred to the Royal London in Whitechapel. The news has come as a further blow for campaigners.
