Ulster Secretary Peter Brooke has described the findings of the Stevens Report as painful, but says he is still convinced the UDR is fundamentally sound. The inquiry found that some security force members in Northern Ireland passed information to loyalist paramilitaries. The conclusions of the Stevens Report into links between Ulster terrorists and security forces will be discussed at the Anglo-Irish conference next week. Male interviewer not identified.
