Actor Christopher Reeve speaking after visiting a spinal injury unit to help him prepare for his role as a wheelchair bound detective in the film Above Suspicion. He said then that he couldn’t imagine being unable to walk. He has since broken his neck and spine when he was thrown from a horse last weekend and is now paralysed.
