Description

John Alcock reports on a press conference in the USSR prior to next week’s superpower summit with US President, Ronald Reagan. The USA and USSR have not been able to agree an arms reduction treaty. Interview with Vladimir Petrovsky, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, who says they are ready to withdraw troops from East Germany if reciprocated in West Germany, and on Soviet proposals for Middle East peace talks.
