- Dorset Police had warned the Football League that there would be trouble at the Bank Holiday weekend match in Bournemouth. Superintendent Les Burns says they gave clear warning that a Bank Holiday fixture would lead to trouble. Dorset Chief of Police, David Waite is planning to appeal to the Home Office to have the right to veto fixtures. Meanwhile the Police are also hunting a forger who may have been partly to blame for the soccer violence over the weekend by providing forged match tickets. AFC Bournemouth Manager, Brian Tyler says the thugs have a low mentality. Bournemouth’s Tourism Director, Ken Male talks about the cost and the impact on trade. Bournemouth’s Mayor, Harry Bostock will call a special meeting to formally respond to the Home Office.
