Paul Woodley reports from the United States where fresh charges have been brought against the four Los Angeles police officers who were acquitted in 04/92 of beating motorist Rodney King – a verdict which started three days of rioting in LA. The officers have been charged with violating King’s civil rights when they hit him more than fifty times, an event which was captured on video tape and seen around the world.
