Gareth Furby reports on a service at Southwark Cathedral in London celebrating the fourtieth anniversary of the arrival of the ship carrying Britain’s first five hundred Jamaican immigrants. The SS Windrush docked in Tilbury in 1948. Only about seventy-five of the original group are still alive and living in the UK. Includes interview with Cecil Holness, one of the original immigrants.
