- John Taylor reports on the collapse of a court case at Knightsbridge Crown Court, London, against a group of Chelsea football hooligans known as the Headhunters, due to the alleged falsification of police evidence. The eight acquitted were: Chris Henderson; Stuart Glass; Jeremy Bodkin; Martin Huggins; Giles Whitbread; Lee Elmer; Mark Smith; Mark Baldwin. The trial was the second such case to fail in a week following the acquittal of eleven West Ham fans at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Southwark, London.
