Description

Press interview with Detective Superintendent Harry Shepherd, on the search for abducted baby, Abbie Humphries. A man called Gary, claiming to be the husband of Abbie’s abductor has called former policeman John Stalker, to say the baby is well. He wanted to return the baby but was emotionally bound by the situation. Abbie was snatched from Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham by a bogus nurse on 01/07/94. (The man called Gary was later revealed to be a hoax caller called Adrian Brookes. A former nurse called Julie Kelley was later arrested and Abbie was reunited with her parents).
