- Description
- World War II has at last come to an end for a small island off the north-west corner of Scotland. Gruinard was requisitioned by the Ministry of Defence for wartime experiments in germ warfare, and has since been off limits, contaminated with lethal spores of anthrax. Junior Defence Minister, Michael Neubert was there to reopen the site. Dr Graham Pearson says that lessons were learned about germ warfare. Local boatman Douglas Cool(?) and noted artist George Wylie comment. Gordon MacArthur(?) reports.
