Description

Ian Fenn reports on British scientists identifying bones found in a makeshift grave in eastern Russia as those of the last Russian Tsar, Nicholas II and his family. Dr Peter Gill, Home Office forensic scientist heading the team, explains the DNA testing technique used; Dr Pavel Ivanov, Russian scientist on the continuing scientific investigations. Its hoped the DNA can now confirm whether Anna Anderson was indeed the Tsar’s daughter Anastasia as she claimed.
