Description

Nicky Broyd interviews the International Director of the British Red Cross, Geoffrey Dennis, following his return from Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu. Tribal warfare and drought are killing two thousand people a day in Somalia in a catastrophe the Red Cross says is largely being ignored by the rest of the world. The British branch of the organisation has today launched an urgent appeal to raise four-and-a-half million pounds for food and medicine for the starving people.
