Scotland Yard is launching an internal inquiry into claims that police officers fabricated evidence against eleven West Ham fans accused of organising football violence. All the fans were found not guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court. 28 year-old Kevin Schroder from Basildon spent seven weeks in Wormwood Scrubs; he had been accused of being a member of the notorious Inter City Firm (ICF), but denies that such an organisation even exists.
